This video will go over the different section types available for creation in the assist system.
Go to portal.adlsassist.com
1. Click "Learning"
From your admin homepage click learning and then select sections.
2. Click "Sections"
Access the "Sections" tab.
3. Click here
Once in sections select actions add new
4. Click "Add New"
Initiate the creation of a new section.
5. Click "Select typePaced Blended/In ClassVirtual PacedVirtual Self-Paced"
The first type of section available to select is paste Blended in class. This allows you to create an in-class section. With meeting days and times both either face-to-face or online. And creating this paste Blended section allows the content to create a start and end date for that student. They start and end date then will prompt all activities in the course to have due dates based between that start date and end date for students.
6. Fill "Select typePaced Blended/In ClassVirtual PacedVirtual Self-Paced"
Okay, a virtual paste course is similar to a blended paste course. Admin can create a virtual Pace section and enroll students in to that section. With student start and end dates That Cascade all due dates within the content between that start and end date. Students will then work on their course as paste by their start and end date parameters.
7. Fill "Select typePaced Blended/In ClassVirtual PacedVirtual Self-Paced"
Selecting virtual self-paced will allow the admin to enroll a student in a section without a start or end date. The student will not have assignment due dates and be able to work through the assignments at their own pace.
