00:10: This tutorial guides you through managing school applications within the ASSIST platform.
00:17: All school applications are found on the ASSIST administrator homepage.
00:21: New applications are indicated with a number. Click here to see a full list of school applications. Or click on any specific application listed in the tile.
00:32: All applications will be listed along with the date of submission and current status.
00:37: You can filter for applications with different statuses. Click an applicant name to view the full application.
00:45: This is all the information provided by the applicant.
00:50: Scroll down to add notes or upload documentation to the applicant's file.
00:54: This is a good place to add grade reports, transcripts, accommodations, or any other comments regarding the applicant's situation.
01:02: Just click "Add New."
01:05: Click the Actions button to see the menu of application status options.
01:11: Every school will have options to change the status of the application.
01:15: Applications can be rejected. Schools can mark the applicant as contacted, or that an invoice has been sent.
01:24: Confirm the chosen operation.
01:27: The status on the application will change to match the new status.
01:33: Return to the home screen to see this new status in the Applications Tile.
01:38: The application status will always be displayed in the homepage tile.
01:44: You can select the appplication to update the status as it changes.
01:48: Open the application again and click the Actions button.
01:53: When you are ready to admit a student to your school, select the "enroll" status."
01:57: This will add the student to your school's student list, on "hold" status.
02:03: Click confirm to complete and save the enrollment of the applicant.
02:09: The new status will show on the application.
02:13: And the status will show in the Applications Tile on the homepage.
02:18: Remember, this student is on Hold Status. They will not received login information until their status is changed to active.
02:26: You can activate students from the Student list. Click the "Activate New Students" button below to view the tutorial for details.
